Kathie is the
youngest of the Johnson siblings and direc By the time she was a teen-ager she’d graduated to the piano chording along with Grandpa Hilde at the Steam Thresher’s Reunion. She performs around the region with the 42nd Street Jazz Band and The Apostles Blues Band . She hosts "Jazz Night at Basie's" Thursdays at the Ramada Plaza ---the longest running Jazz Night in Fargo! In addition, she is a vocalist, pianist, arranger and worship leader at Triumph Lutheran in Moorhead. Kathie directed
the vocal jazz ensembles at Concordia College and taught
piano at MSUM for 10 years and is currently the director of
choral music at Moorhead High School.
