Kent Karch
Biff started his long and rich music career in Mandan, ND in 6th grade as a bass player for the garage band the "Lapstones". In fact, his first "bass" was really an electric guitar with the highest strings removed because he couldn't afford a real bass guitar. Throughout high school and college Biff sang in the school choirs, barbershop groups, and played bass in jazz and rock bands. His bands backed up artists such as REO Speedwagon, BTO, The Guess Who, Paul Revere and the Raiders, and even Lawrence Welk! Biff studied upright bass in college and played in a variety of orchestras.
As a professional musician, Biff enjoys playing and singing all genres of music. When he isn't playing music, he can be found teaching Special Education in Moorhead or building deer stands at the hunting land. Biff also plays in the 42nd Street Jazz Band and the Apostles Blues Band. He and his wife, Jacki, have been a part of the Jaspers family since it opened in 2004.
